Going into the New Year with God!
Happy New Year, friends! In 2025 I’m sure we all have resolutions and goals and things we want to accomplish over these next 365(ish) days. Wether you are aiming to go to the gym more, learn a new hobby, or even just the goal of being more content, I encourage you to take some time to invite God into your 2025 goals. Without the Lord nothing can prosper. So, before you click buy on that Planet Fitness membership or add 13 balls of yarn to your Amazon cart, take some time to realign where your real success in 2025 lies: with God. If we can even share Christ with just one person in 2025 it will have been a productive and successful year. For me, I have chosen a few words that I want to carry with me in 2025 to keep me focused on Christ and I found scripture having to do with those words and I will be meditating on that scripture as I prepare to face these next 12 months. An example of this for me is the word Joy. Scripture says that the Lord has made us glad from His work and that at the works of His hands we should sing for joy!(Psalm 92:4) As I ponder this scripture and the Joy of the Lord I know my heart will be glad because the Father has blessed me with a new year and new opportunities to worship Him and shine His light to others. Even in creating a small habit of focusing on God’s Word and presence in this new year I can promise you a sense of being content and fulfilled in knowing you and your year is being held by the Creator of the universe who holds your best interest at heart. God is with you in 2025 and in every year that follows. Grace and Peace be with you in the New Year and as always, Jesus loves you!🫶
