Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven"
As Seasons Change
We remember the birth of the Son of God in the dead of Winter.
We celebrate His death and resurrection in the midst of Spring.
If even nature’s seasons echo the Glory of God, why can’t our own seasons do the same?
To my friend who is mourning, to my friend rejoicing, to my single friend, to my friend who is a new mother, to my friend still figuring things out, this is a season that God has let you experience for a purpose!
As God’s Word says in the book of Ecclesiastes chapter three verse one: “for everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven.”
If you believe that Christ has His hand in your life, guiding your every step, then you must also believe He has a plan even in the seasons that are difficult.
Even Jesus, as fully God and fully man, experienced various seasons throughout His time on Earth. He was a child speaking to the Elders, He was a young adult doing carpentry as He awaited His ministry, He was a healer, a Savior, God and man, and most importantly He was a perfect sacrifice to wash away our sins and save us from eternity apart from Him.
In your seasons you are not alone. God is with you and He has a purpose for everything you go through. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your Brothers and Sisters in Christ for wise counsel and support in tough seasons and as people who will rejoice with you in happy seasons. In your season pray, in your season reflect, in your season trust, and most importantly live out your season as unto the glory of God. Seasons change, people change, lives change, but we serve a God who is an unchanging and everlasting rock. Live out today for His glory and remember you are in your situation for a reason and you are not alone.
Merry (almost) Christmas and as always, Jesus loves you🫶
